Attendance Information

Regular attendance enables children to access a full education, enabling them to reach their full potential.  Monitoring of school attendance enables identification of students at risk and the early implementation of intervention strategies.  Our school values of Belonging, Caring, Learning, Persisting and Respecting underpin the importance of regular attendance. 

Students are welcome on site from 8:30am, class begins promptly at 8:45am.  

Late Arrival and Early Departures- When arriving after 8:45am students are required to sign in at the front office. If students are departing from school before 3:10pm (2:10pm on Thursday's) they must sign out at the front office. 

Absences- Please communicate all student absences as soon as possible. Our student absence mobile number is a text only service, you can text absence reasons to 0447 158 038.  Unexplained absences will be followed up via text each school day. This is an automated service which draws information from class rolls. 

Illness- If a student is absent for three or more consecutive days a medical certificate is required.  

Extended Absences- Please communicate all extended absences with administration staff.  An exemption form may be required.
