Welcome to Loxton Primary School! It’s my pleasure to introduce you to our vibrant and inclusive school community, a place where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their personal best. Located in the heart of the Riverland, on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, Loxton is a welcoming and thriving regional town with a rich community spirit.

Loxton Primary is proud to be part of a strong local education partnership, working closely with Loxton Preschool and Loxton High School to ensure seamless transitions and consistent support for children and young people across all stages of their learning journey.
Our dedicated staff, including specialist teachers and support personnel, are committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. From classrooms to sporting fields, and across our many specialist programs in Physical Education, Technologies, Science, and Humanities, students’ interests and talents are discovered, celebrated, and extended.
We believe that positive relationships are key to every child’s success. Our improvement work is focussed on Growth for Every Learner; we support each individual to flourish by developing strengths and explicitly teaching positive actions for learning. Our collaborative approach, inclusive practices, and strong support networks enable children to thrive both academically and personally.
We offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities and have a proud sporting culture, with many students representing the Riverland and competing at state level. Our excellent facilities, including dedicated junior and upper primary playgrounds, a stunning nature play area, an all-weather outdoor stadium, and a modern five-bay kitchen, enrich every aspect of school life and help our students grow and connect.
