Assessment & Reporting

At Loxton Primary School, we are committed to keeping parents and caregivers informed and involved in their child’s learning. We adopt a progressive reporting approach, providing families with regular updates on their child’s achievements and areas for growth throughout the year. These updates are shared via student portfolios on the Class Dojo platform, allowing you to follow your child’s learning journey in real time and provide timely support where needed. 

You will also receive two written reports each year—one at the end of Semester 1 and another at the end of Semester 2—which offer detailed information about your child’s academic progress.  

Alongside written feedback and progressive reporting, we actively encourage regular communication through parent-teacher interviews, phone calls, and meetings. These ongoing conversations help strengthen our partnership with families and support each student’s learning journey in a collaborative and meaningful way.
